Africa Surgical Assistance Project

The Africa Surgical Assistance Project Team creates community-based medical/surgical programs in West Africa using a Community-Oriented Primary Care (COPC) model. Our Doctors partner with local health care providers and the communities we serve to address urgent, curable, high-impact health needs underserved by most NGOs. We train local health care practitioners, conduct follow-up research, and build sustained self-directed surgical programs.
